Rycharde appears in exactly one quest, in fully obscuring cloak and half-mask. Other than being able to discern his race (he's a hyur, I think maybe a Highlander; the player being a lalafel kinda throws my size estimations), there's nothing else to really go off here.

Although, fun fact: they reuse the Echo flashback cutscene he initiates in 4.1, it's the moment when Raubahn wins enough money to buy the Coliseum!

To answer the OP's other question, though, he did leave, so he was alive last we saw him, but running in a bad crowd that says to me it wouldn't be surprising if he turned up dead later.

See, from the framing of the Echo flashback, my thought was that the person standing next to the Adventurer in the Coliseum was Rycharde.

It's definitely possible, and I like the logic since he seems to be the only guy in that particular balcony, but I'm not sure; that guy's got a beard, and I can't tell if the robed figure does from just this one video which seems to be the only footage that still exists for that part.
