False. You dont need PF to form player made groups for basic msq dungeons. Ive used the DF for low level characters on an alt all the time and I havent ran into the situation where the queue is so bad I need to form a PF.The DF isn't the issue. Everyone quit or is using trusts. That PF posting has the very specific goal of wanting company in an MMO, something hard to do when there isn't content to keep players engaged and when the game just pushes you to do the content with bots instead of people.

Nobody is claiming that. All I'm presenting is evidence someone felt the need to post a PF and describe it as such. Given I feel the game doesn't have content it reinforces my belief that most people have moved on or are playing solo, hence the post of the title "Some MMO we have". I hope this helps understand the sentiment.
Meanwhile, on Dynamis.
JFC we have 1 raid up and 15 "other"
Breaking news: We just got one more in the raid tab, what a time to be alive.

Unfortunately, the OP forgot to tell us about which world that wonderful DPS actually lived, or why they weren't using the regular duty finder (which is fed by players in the Leveling Roulette).

Most people form premades out of FC members and friends list. And they run most content with PUGs rather than premades. Neither of these will use PF. How many PF parties do you want there to be to be considered "not dead"?
Also, someone posted a screen that had 96 high end party listings, so the discrepancy in PF amounts is likely time and location dependent, not content-dependent.

I feel like people are participating in this thread, but not actually bothering to read what others say, just hope someone else does bother reading theirs lol. Its DC dependent. As far as the - How many PF parties do you want there to be to be considered "not dead" - I was actually not hoping to find something like that in PF. It's such a downer TBH.Most people form premades out of FC members and friends list. They run most content with random match parties. Neither of these will use PF. The Aether one looks alright. Ideally I'd like to see a ratio of more group up for actual game activities than "others". It tells me there is more things to do in the game that people are actively participating in than "made up" events, where people are just using the game assets to make up stuff because the actual game apparently doesn't appeal to them as much.
I don't think I'm taking it out of context, seems very explicit to me. Do you have any proof they meant the game was full of players dying to do Haukke Manor with them and he chose to put that PF up instead?that still doesnt prove anything though. You're generalizing something you've seen and taking it out of context. If this were the case, you'd see multiple listings of this sort of thing. You cant just pin down one average joe who prolly didnt even try DF to assume what you're arguing about
That's mostly the thing with venues tbh, people have to make their own fun because the game itself is well.. just doesnt provide enough fun.I feel like people are participating in this thread, but not actually bothering to read what others say, just hope someone else does bother reading theirs lol. Also you are not taking it out of context, it makes sense with your OP and also with the title. Nothing wrong with it.
You are literally boosting their point, because it would be harder for the person to make a PF for Haukke, instead of just queuing up for it. Are you saying that people are creating inconveniences for themselves for the fun of it ?
I should think so, because if all the DPS player knew was Duty Support (because it was introduced in Sashtasha), they might not think they could open the Duty window, click specifically on Sastasha and have other non-Sastasha players join in from the Leveling Roulette. That would be my own interpretation, rather than some convoluted belief that nobody was queuing up for a Leveling Roulette at 4 pm in the afternoon on a Saturday.
There is no way a Party Finder queue for Haukke Manor would be quicker than selecting the Duty itself. It would have to have been a new player. And why didn't the OP send a tell to the player telling them that bit of information?

Honestly? Because I'm a normal human being and just got bummed out by it. I'm not gonna launch a full blown investigation and start interrogating people. It's a mystery to me how people haven't noticed just how many people have either taken breaks or left the game.
