Just ran Praetorium after a long time and saw the "how very glib!" line missing in the subtitles. The "hmph!" looks so vacant without it.

The "How very glib" afterward was just *chef's kiss* and without the dialogue options so unintentionally amusing. I've always loved his sarcasm in that whole dialogue.

I do agree that 1st timers should get to enjoy it with real people and not be forced to skip the cutscenes. That happend to me back when ARR was current and it really sucked to be left behind and then told to watch the scenes in the inn. I don't think that the unskippable status should change with real people. Unless they can maybe set a flag for when there is or is not a first timer present. But I think they've said they can't do that.

But with trusts, I'd love to get the dialogue choices back (and Gaius' glib line) and maybe also make the scenes skippable. I'd think they could just make a copy of the dungeon that has this that only trusts access or something, so maybe the flagging problem from above could be avoided.

Prae and Castrum should have just been made into solo duties, and put the crystal tower raids into the MSQ roulette instead.

Gotta say, if they were going to make a change, I agree with this most. I mean, Gaius already talks like we're alone and always has.

Maybe just Praetorium being made solo. Castrum's story lead up mentions leading a team of adventurers, I think. And leading a team to kill the shielding in an op for the Flames makes sense. Then we go in solo to get Thancred/destroy Ultima while everyone distracts the enemy.

Only problem would be explaining why there are more people with you to fight Ultima. And they can't make that a solo fight; its the final big battle of the expac. And Lahabrea is already a solo fight. Which to be fair, is also weird at the moment, I suppose.

W/e. I still want my elevator conversation back. lol
