Cannot play after 6.4 patch on Mac

After the launch of 6.4 i was unable to play. At first I thought because of my internet connection ( I have at&t but all of the sudden my connection is fixed) but i logged in and I am still having lagging issues. i have a macbook pro from 2013 running on Big Sur 11.7.7. Whenever I log in my screen freezes, I still hear the music but I can't move my character at all. I have to force quit at time just to exist the game. I have tried lowering the resolution and disabling many options to make my fps go up but that did not work either. On the system configuration on the graphic settings I can't choose the "enable dynamic resolution" because it says currently unavailable for the Mac version of Final Fantasy XIV.
Am I no longer able to use my computer to play FF14?
