I heard that the players in that screen shot were reported for their custom HUD mods by some witch hunters and that the GMs are looking into it. Truthfully, the group really should have known better to post that image with a fickle blood thirsty jealous community trying to stomp on their success to fame.

Kinda hard to “forget about it” when you get bombarded with /shout messages for “nightclubs” and “DJs” propped up by over-modded sex pests who want to turn this game into a red light district. I guess you can just turn off chat, turn off /tells, don’t join an FC, and don’t interact with anyone else. Some MMO, huh?

Just read the whole thread. What a trip. I think a lot of people on both sides are missing the nuance here. There's good and bad on both sides. Let people do that they want as long as they are consenting adults, aren't hurting anyone and others dont have to see it in game? Nothing wrong with that. But lets not act like it isn't very disheartening to people on Playstation or those who actually try to follow the rules. They probably feel very left out. And they are left out.

I love the venue scene. But /shout and /yell advertising is out of control. Admit it. Even party finder ads are out of control at this point. And im someone who loves this stuff and follows more DJ's on Twitch than probably anyone.

I just wish both sides could take a breath and realize the other side does have some good points but neither side is bathed in righteousness in this case.

Not really...it says more that you just assume all that about people, and that you go down this enormous slippery slope argument. Just...ignore it. It is really, genuinely, AMAZINGLY, not that hard.

Honestly people really should just roll their eyes and move on whenever they see threads like these pop up. No amount of seriousness should be spent on them or the inverse of this pendulum swing where people then start going after raid content mod makers/users. Whenever playable content goes into a lull 'people' chase after the mod makers of character mods and on the inverse 'people' go after parsers and playable content mods.

It's the same cycle as the patch cycle. Except with these witch hunts there's rarely anything worth talking about as it's been talked about before or even covered by the team already.
