Petition to SE: Start banning modding users who engage in 18+ activities immediately

Well, you see, they don't need an intrusive anti-cheat system. They could for instance, simply send a takedown request for Mare and their servers. They should eliminate these networks that accept money disguised as "donations" to develop software that abuses the Terms of Service.

Square Enix has become too complacent with not doing anything, it's time for them to step up their game.

How much longer will they allow this blight to rage? We all came here to play Final Fantasy, not VRChat. This isn't meant to be a make your own game experience.

Dealing with gil sellers is like dealing with a hydra, cut off one head and two more grow back. There isn't an easy way of handling it imo and idiots will still fall for their scams regardless so the funnel of gil isn't really going to end.

Also, the reality that people seem to ignore is that ERP isn't against the ToS. Is it annoying to look at? Sure, but it's literally in the ToS that encounters like that are fine as long as both parties are consenting and aren't doing it in the middle of Limsa in shout chat. You'd have more wiggle room with reporting if that was the case rather than being done behind closed doors at someone's house.

I've also never seen Mare become this exclusive group that hates on anyone who doesn't mod but I also don't get involved in that side of things so maybe there's harassment going on daily. *shrug* I've just personally never seen it.

I also meet people who ask for mare, and if you say no, its no, I have never heard of people getting "denied" friendship or anything of the likes because they dont have mare, and I dont see why they would.

Also mare is free, you dont have to pay anything, so not sure what you mean by that ? There is no money tied to mare ?

They probably are referring to the fact that the dev takes donations to help keep the servers running, not that it's required to pay to use Mare.
