Waiting for a cutscene is the biggest meme ever. They are not even that important, it's basically the boss just telling you to piss off. Plus, whoever was watching it gets pulled into the arena anyway.

I always pull in 24man content if I'm tanking, regardless of cutscenes. They can watch it later or join the fight once they've finished. And the hell is with this historical revisionism? I remember distinctly back in the days of ARR and HW that people pulled all the time regardless of cutscenes. I remember because I was once that sprout that had to skip cutscenes and watch them later. It was really no biggie.

Your experience is different then, not revisionism. Having played since 1.0, I have been in both groups. Ones that wait, ones that don't. I personally will be just fine waiting that 5 - 10 seconds.

I do not think I have actually ever seen anyone in my years of play actually complain about people watching cutscenes. The only ones I have seen comment on it in-game are people in dungeons apologising for the wait, and the party members always replying with things akin to "Its OK, enjoy "

Once or twice I've seen someone pull out the "Just watch it in the inn" at a sprout and it does not go well for them in alliance chat at all.
