    Why is FF16 just reusing assets from FF14?



    First they reuse assets for dungeon gear and bosses. But now even FF16 is just reusing assets from FF14... So are they just going to reuse assets over and over again now even in completely new titles?

    The main combat music in FF16 is just a reused asset from Eureka...

    They also reused Liquid Flame,



    which is a boss from FF14...



    which in itself is a reused asset from A3...



    And they even reuse the font for HP and MP??



    which is literally just copied from FF14...



    And even the dungeons look copied from FF14...





    So can they stop reusing assets and actually make brand new content?? I've already given up hope on FF14 but they're doing that to every FF from now it seems.

    There's a difference between common FF themes like Moogles and Ifrit and Garuda and spells like Firega, and straight up copying like the font and the music...

    Thats not the issue. The issue is that this is a new FF game, so the assets should be NEW, not reused. Reusing assets make it feel like a cheap experience...

    why are you playing XIV then when 90% of the assets, cliche's and other stuff are all re-used assets and content from older FF games.

    Similar doesn't mean reused. Even in FFXIV itself I see a lot of similar things but when I look closely I can see enough differences that it seems it was remade entirely.

    They have a certain set of final fantasy themed enemies in mind and then just constantly create assets for them, sometimes even making assets that are very similar to ones they have made before but are higher quality because standard specs are higher.

    wow....ok nevermind the myriad of other problems that FFXIII had such as linearity, plot, and combat system but the reuse of FFXII assets, thats what all the gamers and ign reviewers were focusing on. Get real here.
