Does he mean the maps you buy for your ARR relic weapons? I'm pretty sure all the treasure maps gathered has been on a CD for as long as I can remember.

I believe he means every map that doesn't spawn a portal that brings a party to the dungeon.

As far as I remember, playing since 2.0's launch, since maps were introduced they've ALWAYS had the 18 hour cooldown. You can technically get more than one a day on average, but if people could get them with no cooldown, then everything in them would be worthless, as well as the maps being worthless themselves. Loot would have to be greatly reduced so people wouldn't be able to get stuff too easily from them, even though they give older/less valuable items items.

It's why there's an achievement for EVERY map to be done X amount of times for achievements.

This feels like a 'why should I have to waste my cooldown timer to get worthless maps' type suggestion. You can buy them from others, or even gather them on alt characters and then just get a friend/fc mate to hold the map for you and trade it to your main character to do them.

Sorry about the typo, supposed to say non not none. And it wasn't that long ago that you farm multiple maps a day to include Khumbria skin maps.
