    Give me your most unhinged Job take that you still genuinely believe in.

    I am bored and this can be a funny, it can be anything, opinions, suggestion on how to change jobs, opinions on people who play those jobs... anything.

    I start, they should change DNC dances(Standard Step, Technical Step, Tillana) to 25y range so DNC correctly matches the full ranged DPS range, I don't care that would mean that I would pull the entire bloody dungeon because that effectively gives me a 50y range due to the circle blast, I want to be always able to stand at max range.

    This! It changed to a completely different job after that. I found the proc reliant gameplay black mage had at 50 much more fun. Dragoon was also more fun in ARR, now it just feels way too busy for me.

    Reaper felt better to play before 86, the lemure skills just make it feel way clunkier if you have any latency.

    Shadowbringers summoner was way better than what we have now, not sure if I can say Shadowbringers summoner was better than HW summoner but they were both great.

    Machinist was fun in Stormblood, now it's just unplayable if you have latency, even with the recent changes to hypercharge it still feels clunky.

    I don't know if its unedige or counts since i havent been playing that long...

    However this is just my opinion and it counts for just about every job outside of blackmage and summoner and ninja (havent played mch so i don't know there)

    I feel like the design choices on just about every job were done poorly and with little thought invovled other than "what if"

    Like warrior for example, Why didn't they build around berserk more and make it a true berserker? Like why not make use of its over healing aiblitysd by keeping bererk up as often as you can through rotation taking more damgage yes but outputting more while after reaching so many berserk counts you go true beast furry. I won't say there design is bad but it makes every job I play almost carbon copy of another job with a diffrent name.

    I feel like there are cool mechas in the jobs they could have done more with, but choice to ignore for whatever reason even ninja isn't fully immune to this why not had more handsigns and focus on that for its theme, or do more with steal for mixer fans so they steal items to mix and toss like Rikku..

    I just my opinion Feel like they go down the lazy design path and honestly slowly kill what could make the job feel special and fun.

    I really like this take because it's something that crosses my mind every time I play. The game has become very centered around balancing classes rather than what's fun. Like I wish Dark Knight had more built around it's tank identity (TBN) or got more skills like an old one called Blood Price, where you took damage and gained mp. Used to make dungeon tanking a blast when you could spam Abyssal Drain.

    Bloodwhetting and the rest of WAR's healing should probably be toned down. I think its pretty sad that its likely going to normalize the idea that dungeons optimally should be run with 3 dps and 1 tank.

    I really don't want to see the other 3 tanks get that level of absurd sustain in casual content either, but homogenization means its probably coming next expansion in some form.

    I don't know if this is unhinged or not but Warrior shouldn't be healing people with nascent flash nor shake it off, IDM the self sustain aspects (Other then in aoe) but I don't really think Warrior should be seen as healer tank.

    Idk, raid wide barriers and healing seem like something a Paladin or maybe even a Dark knight would do, But warrior should be about intimidating the enemy as a raid wide instead of protecting and group healing xD.
