    [glam]Drachen and Wyrm armors (dragoon)

With endwalker giving the spotlight to FFIV in many ways (bosses, dungeons, the moon, the gears), it would be nice to fix one of the most iconics FFIV inspired armor : the Dragoon one. Or, to be more precise, the female one and its unfamous bellyhole.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, here they are, (both the drachen one and the wyrm one)

I love the design of the armor, but the bellyhole make it look stupid. FFXIV does a good job with its gear design, but early ones had a few miss, and this is one of them.

It's a shame that the armor inspired by the iconic Kain armor looks so stupid.

Would it be possible to have a version with a belly piece, like the male one has?

Now there probably are people that like that version of the armor (weird flex but ok), so maybe we could have a glam for both set (drachen dyable and wyrm) that is unlocked when you get the armor? or an alternate versionof set piece with the exact same stats exchangeable at the diamond forge. So you can chose the one you prefer.

Yeah, I've always thought that the open abdomen on those armors was really strange. That's basically attaching a neon sign to one's stomach that says "Stab here".

I don’t think this means what you think it means. It would be a brag, or a show off. Not a matter of opinion

Also, belly hole is best version

Fun fact: To my knowledge, that armor was designed for fighting dragons only, hence the spikes that are intended to hurt the mouth, throat, and even the belly of any dragon who thinks to swallow and eat up the dragoon (or anyone wearing the armor). It was never made by design to fight non-dragons.

I won't deny that I like the belly hole, but I would also not deny that it does look out of place.

I would use the armor for my dragoon glam if not for the open belly. Practicality concerns aside, I just think it looks silly. And a lot of later dragoon gear has giant wings or butt capes (or worse, both), so it's really the only dragoon artifact set that I like at all.

Also, the fins and wing on DRG gear are actually flight stabilizers for more powerful and accurate Jumping.

I wish males had the belly hole version. Imagine 2.0 Estinien flashing his midriff everywhere.

There exists a hole in the male version too, they just have an under-scale armour covering up.
It was supposedly to help them flex the abs to perform their jumps better. It was designed for jumping not tanking.

Whatever the backward explanation is. Original Kain version cover the belly, FFXIV male version cover the belly, the female doesn't. It's about having something covering the belly, whatever the technicality of that belly piece is. It's not even about replacing it, but having two versions available, since, from what I noticed, a lot of people, like me, find that the belly-hole ruins the glam (it's also to see if it was a concensus or not at all).
