You know, this cool song thingy? Apart from the opening cutscenes alluding to it, did the game even use it yet??
I sure hope 2.0 keeps it somehow.![]()

I doubt they will toss away such a awesome song. Pretty much one of the songs Nobuo hit the nail on the head with in the soundtrack.
Hell it may just end up being the trailer/opening song for 2.0 it has the potential in it to be the stand out song for it.

It was also performed in a distant worlds concert as well, I think.
The Lyrics in itself, Describe that Warrior 2.0 Picture fighting in the fire tbh....

Well, we never heard the Final Fantasy XI theme song aside from the opening CG either...but Answers hasn't truly been used in game aside from the muffled intro at the very beginning.
I hope it's the new CG song...because I quite enjoy it.

Yes, Answers has been played during the Distant World's Concert's. Saw them play it live in St. Louis, was awesome.
Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend. He was so deadly, in fact, that his enemies would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!
When I was at the Distant Worlds 2011 in London, Susan Calloway sang "Memoro de la S^Tono + Distant worlds" (video made by me here.). She was pretty good.
Before the song the conductor Arnie Roth talked about XIV. He said something like "Susan sang the theme song for FFXIV, which is still struggling to come out". Giggles in the audience afterwards. 2.0 was announced less than one month before...
I bet Answers is gonna play during the last cutscene on the current version. Our adventure in the current XIV started with a "Walk free, walk free. Believe", could end the same way! Would be quite awesome to hear that track during Dalamud's "fall" :3
I think they used all the original tracks, just miss Answers and another one, a pretty long one I think would work with an epic multi-stage battle (Legatus Battle in 1.23 anyone?). Talking about this one.

That multi-stage theme you are referring to is used for Coerthas guildleves. When I was at the Distant Worlds 2011 in London, Susan Calloway sang "Memoro de la S^Tono + Distant worlds" (video made by me here.). She was pretty good.

I friggin LOVED this song from the Alpha soundtrack. I couldn't believe it took them so long to include it in the game.Talking about this one.
I hope they find a place for all of Uematsu's music in 2.0. This game's soundtrack is incredibly underrated.
Not to take anything away from the new music that's been written since then (I never found out for sure whose been writing it...is it Mizuta?)
