It's funny but I thought of the same scene when they told me their story!

On the serious side, they were lucky. This guy is one of the fittest people you'd hope to meet. He knew better; but, when you're young you think you're immortal.

Blood pancakes? What is that?

While I like to joke about needing the caffeine, the truth is I enjoy coffee. I've been drinking it since I've been 16 and really like the variety we have today compared to our limited selection in the 70s.

I'm the same way. The only coffee I dislike is Starbucks, believe it or not. It tastes like they burn their beans. It's not my thing. Too heavy. Too acidic.

Hot chocolate is awesome! With connoisseur chocolate being a huge thing now, I expect hot chocolate to develop into different varieties just like coffee has.

You know what? I think I'll poke around a bit to find diabetic safe stuff.
