I've made two or three revisions to the looks of the house, including throwing away one of the prebuilt exteriors in order to custom make something I think fits better.
I have used it as locations for videos and I have used it for personal entertainment.

I have a basic furniture layout that doesn't change and a lot of seasonal items that I frequently rotate and rearrange. A little bit like my real life house, except I can work with large pieces instead of just what fits on the storage shelves. I spend a lot of time hanging out in my house listening to orchestrion rolls while I talk with my FC, and it's my preferred crafting "base", although sometimes I'll hang out in one of the main cities if I'm utilizing a vendor.

Its where I spend my time, I stopped parking myself in front of aetherytes anymore, I take care of my retainers,I craft, I redecorate and just “live” there far away from people :3

My house is a FC house (I built my FC in 2017 and had transferred it last October to my current character, all my friends stopped playing so it’s only me now), so I’ll add managing my workshop to this list.
And I always disconnect on my bed, this is an habit I had for many years.

I've actually been working on the outside all weekend. I started previewing a bunch of furnishings and deciding what to add/replace. I made quite a few changes and still working on a few things.

As for the interior, I make small changes here and there but nothing too drastic. I spent a lot of time with the initial decorations and don't really plan on renovation anytime soon.

I use the houses for playing with friends.
We search on internet "real estates" and then we recreate the furniture arrangement in ffxiv (as far as possible).
It's a good exercise.

Nothing for now, aside from growing Elemental Crystals. Will look into getting all my crafters to 90, and then making a start on decorating it.

My friends laugh at me for this, but I was so used to logging out in the inn room when I first started playing that I didn’t realize you didn’t need to log out with a bed until I got my first FC room! lol Now I just do it out of habit, even though it puts me outside when I log back in anyway.

Mao uses house for the relaxings. Mao has hot baths inside and outside, kitchen and pantry stuffed with little moon bunnies (thems tasty) and big fish tank downstairs that holds Mr Sharky (blue glowy shark), Mao's emergency food supply. Is also lots sticks and books for Mao to chews on. Mao sometimes chews on the furnitures as well.
