hahahahahahaha - this would totally be me. Tried a FC room but I absolutely suck at decorating. Glad to know I'm not the only one

There are STILL medium and small plots available in the Goblet on Kujata - at least EIGHT on my ward alone , they have also been vacant for weeks.."we cant get a house' - yes you can, you're just being too choosy.

Mine is a FC house with a full on workshop, I am busy with crafting, making sub components, doing missions, managing retainers, I entertain the odd friend, but mainly its an FC house.

I own a personal small and have an FC medium on Jenova, so this isn't coming from a place of salt or anything (as a disclaimer). However, this is not the case on most servers. There aren't any vacant personals on jenova for instance. When one does open up, it has hundreds of bids on it easily.

Spent about half a week crafting, buying stuff, and arranging furniture to turn a medium house into a modern apartment. Now it's a place I head back to for retainer cycling and idling when I'm not on hiatus from boredom.

I've made two or three revisions to the looks of the house, including throwing away one of the prebuilt exteriors in order to custom make something I think fits better.
I have used it as locations for videos and I have used it for personal entertainment.

I have a basic furniture layout that doesn't change and a lot of seasonal items that I frequently rotate and rearrange. A little bit like my real life house, except I can work with large pieces instead of just what fits on the storage shelves. I spend a lot of time hanging out in my house listening to orchestrion rolls while I talk with my FC, and it's my preferred crafting "base", although sometimes I'll hang out in one of the main cities if I'm utilizing a vendor.

I've actually been working on the outside all weekend. I started previewing a bunch of furnishings and deciding what to add/replace. I made quite a few changes and still working on a few things.

As for the interior, I make small changes here and there but nothing too drastic. I spent a lot of time with the initial decorations and don't really plan on renovation anytime soon.
