Incorrect dialogue - Yotsuyu's speech to Gosetsu in the tavern

During the cutscene that plays after finishing "Forever and Ever Apart", when Yotsuyu talks to Gosetsu, the voiceactor says "[...] and tossed into a imperial JAIL, you had plenty of time to get used to it".

The dialoge bubble however states "[...] and tossed into a imperial GAOL, you had plenty of time to get used to it."

Amusingly enough, that is in fact how gaol is pronounced. English orthography is a glorious mess~

As Baelfrie said, this is correct for British English, what in American English is written as 'jail' (the phoentic spelling), is actually correctly spelt gaol in British/Australian/New Zealand/etc English. Due to US culture permating everything though, the American spelling does turn up in the UK and elsewhere as well. Either way, gaol is the correct spelling, with 'jail' how it's actually vocalised and spelt accordingly which is how it's spelt in the US.

Yeah, it's confusing, but that's language for you.

I had always thought, and pronounced it myself in talking to others, that "gaol" was "Gah-Ole" with a hard G (like in Go) and hard O (like in Old)
