Allow us to share our houses more intensely

I've been playing this game for 7 years and housing shortages continues to plague many players. I've been fortunate to acquire a large house but many seem unable to even get a hold of a small one simply because there are so many people abusing the FC function where they build an FC, buy any house they can get and sell the FC for a lot of money.

So my suggestion is to add functionality to the sharing functions (or lack of):

Private housing should be upgraded so you can share with 9 players instead of 3.

FC houses should be allowed to share their house with up to 2 other FC's.
This just means that while sharing, every FC can see your FC house as a location to teleport to and make use of your NPC's, retainers, foodbuffs (but stables, gardens & workshop remain off limits for those not part of the FC owning the plot due to rank restrictions of each FC otherwise colliding, unless SE adds separate restriction options for shared purposes).

When outsiders click on the vault in an FC house not owned by them, they will see the vault tied to their own FC meaning they cannot see or touch the vault items of the FC owning the plot.

If FC's want to request help, they can use alternatives such as discord.
That way the in game chat won't be spammed too much and FC behaviour will remain optimal (less chance of being overlooked when you ask your main FC for help).

Obviously what this means is that FC chat won't be mixed with other FC's to avoid it causing friction seeing as all communities are run differently and they tolerate different things in chat. So it may be wise to idle around the FC plot if you want to ask someone for help by for example asking them if they can ask their own FC if someone wants to do specific content and having them come to the garden to continue the conversation in say or yell.

The idea is to give everyone the benefits of NPC's & retainer bells + finding someone to hang around with without having to be lucky to grab a house.

It would be helpful if SE updated the restrictions so you get to configure them for other FC's as if they were guests without colliding with their own rank restrictions, I think a nice way to do this would be to introduce new furniture on the market that gives us the same but removes all the restrictions for people you share with (meaning all FC's get to use that furniture as long as they are sharing with you. And treat these furniture as if "not yet in the garden" so you can place 3 regular gardens and 3 shared ones. It would also help if SE gave us 5 additional garden slots seeing as we lose some by default by the teleportation crystal, mailbox, stables, plantbox, training dummy which every FC obviously needs.
(obviously if a community can't get along with the people they share the house with and leadership can't find middle ground, the plot owner can decide to stop sharing it at any given time)

Don't see a problem with this. There have been times I've wanted to be able to add a 4th tenant but had to remove one of the others first. The owner would be assuming the risk by adding more tenants as they already do.

On the other hand, I only see a tiny percentage of players (<0.1% tiny) actually taking advantage of it if it were available. I've run into too many players who won't trust even those they consider friends with access to their house.

Just a plain bad idea. There's really no reasons to share the FC house when the features that make a FC house useful would be off limits.

Most of the NPC types can be accessed elsewhere, having a reduced fee teleport doesn't really help when it means you're still going to have to teleport to the actual destination and pay that fee, the food item buffs are so weak that they get used more for the RP food sharing than the actual buffs. And of course the drama when someone bored comes along to eat all the food charges, leaving an empty bowl/plate/platter.

Summoning Bells are all over the market districts plus inn rooms in the cities not to mention any wards. You don't need a house to have access to one.

As for the NPC permits, the only one that isn't available elsewhere is the Material Supplier. At most adding this access saves a little extra running around for the player depending on what they're trying to purchase since everything on the Supplier is also sold by other vendors in various locations.

At least there’s some micro-management though. On a personal, you can set a tenant’s privileges with the checkboxes. I think the FCs can be set by what rank a member holds. But yes, it’s always a risk to give access to someone you may not know that well…

It would be nice if it would be account based meaning all ones alt counts as master of the house, and maybe a room for 2-3 more tenants than what there already is, could also be a nice addition.

Is problem with more sharings that Mao found out the hards way. Is cap on number of houses/apartsments that can be owned or be tenant of. If tenant limit increased, more peoples would hit cap more quickly. If increase tenant limit (Mao agrees with this), will also need increase on cap for houses is tenant of.

i just got my house done from 10mil xmas trees 2 to a movie place to big kitchen and lofts ect hotubs it cost me 37mil gil lol but i got the best my xmas trees 20mil

More tenants would be great actually. That, and at least give apartments like ONE tenant. There are so many people who want to share a house with someone, but just can't seem to get one. Sharing a space with someone does make a great difference when you're the type to actually use your spaces. It's funner to decorate together, and it's more useful to be able to access the npcs. So at least one for apartments would be a great addition. FC thing I dont know, FC's get into enough fights as it is lol. Cant imagine adding a 2nd FC into the mix.

I’d rather have the possibility to share with alts on top of current tenants. It’s a bit ridiculous that I can give access to my house to complete strangers if I want to but my other characters can’t use it. I can already exchange items via an fc chest between my alts so there’s no point to that restriction.

Being able to have 1 tenant in an apartment would be nice too. I have a friend who would like help with decorating but it’s not possible.

Fc sharing sounds like it would open the door to fc drama. I would never buy an fc room in such conditions as I would think the situation too volatile.
