    Option for legacy movement while locking on target!

    I'm a huge fan of the lock on feature in FFXIV, it feels amazing in my personal opinion but the only thing making me unable to use it really is the way it forces me to "backpaddle" when moving back just like non-legacy style movement.

    Isn't it a good idea to give free movement to lock on as an option for those who want to use it? Lock on is a forgotten feature that is really cool but just some small things make people like me unable to use it comfortably

    Honestly I'm not quite sure why they kept lock on in the game. It's kinda a bad idea for area awareness that you'll need at higher difficulty content. Feels like a relic they never got around to removing, probably because it's existence doesn't really hurt anything.
