Tried out DRK (normally warrior)
I don't know if it's due to the team being well coordinated but I just got MELTED.
That was inside my salted earth (20% less damage) WITH TBN up.
I was literally killed in a stun MULTIPLE times. As a tank. What's the point of being a tank if you can't take hits and die in a stun?
A melee job has to be in melee range to do damage. News at 11.
It was ridiculous they were so ranged to begin with.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
There's a lot of variance between DRKs I've noticed.Tried out DRK (normally warrior)

I don't play them myself so I'm not super steady on their exact toolkit, but some I've noticed die instantly, while others are utterly hopeless to get rid of.
I'm assuming there's a timing trick to using various abilities, self-healing and mitigating when possible and mostly using the latter half of TBN and/or the purify window to get out and into safety when you're about to run out of resources.
Put him on ignore and move on with your life.
