Strider Boots and Hermes' Shoes

That topic about mounts in cities and a toggle for sprint got me thinking.

We already have the option to increase the duration of Sprint in city-states: Wearing the Strider Boots or Hermes' Shoes.

But they only increase the duration of Sprint by 10 seconds.

Back when Sprint only had a 30 second cooldown you had an 100% uptime on Sprint when you were wearing the Hermes' Shoes.

Can we have that back?

Please increase the duration of Sprint to 60 seconds when you are wearing the Strider Boots or Hermes' Shoes in city-states.

Also please add the Strider Boots to the next Moogle Treasure Trove to make them widely available.

hermes shoes won't be readded. it was a 1.0 item and people were already up in arms with the earrings that yoshi p added to the first anniversary event. as for the strider boots. its anemos. so unless you want him to pull it out of there and just make it buyable in any city state then people will have to do anemos to farm them. then they would have to change them from untradeable so they could be sold on mb for anyone to acquire.

I don't understand why you think any of that matters. Tint specified Moogle Treasure Trove, which by its nature doesn't care where any of its rewards came from and allows you to get whatever is on its list by spamming completely unrelated content for mogtomes, and doesn't change any of its rewards to be tradable if they were not already.

Then SE ripped me off, I had a sub here since beta for 1.0 and never got the Hermes' Shoes.

You had to link your PlayOnline account to your SE account. On top of that it was given to only 1 character and not an account perk like some of the other stuff from back then.

That explain it since my first characters is on JP servers. Other part think tried to link them and gave up since not good at that type of stuff.

I never asked to readd Hermes' Shoes to the game or to pull Strider Boots out of Anemos and make them tradeable. Just that they buff them and make the Strider Boots available with the Moogle Tomes so more people can benefit from the then buffed effect. But of course Moogle Treasure Trove is only a temporary event, people who missed that would still have to do Anemos to get the boots.

Or just make run toggle permanently in towns.

Yess, but meanwhile they can tweak the numbers on the shoes, way easier than adding a new system to the game. We didn't even got PvP Sprint on our island, but some duty action instead.

We could have that with 6.38 and make the Strider Boots available with the Moogle Treasure Trove before 6.4. Well, theoretically, I know the devs will not read this.
