Ya everytime I try to play it and start aimlessly spamming shinten for most of my rotation I just start getting bored and IMO is just meh animation . They should've made Shinten cost 50 kenki at least and upped the potency. Also I feel since they gutted kaiten I really don't see alot of Sam in most of the content I run in DF and in general , hopefully it's not just me and SE sees the data w/ drop off of players and eventually put it back.

Shinten with 50 kenki would be as boring if not more, you would just press less buttons, getting two Shinten under raid buff would be as braindead because of ishikoten ect...
No what they need is a reason for you to even remember you have a ressource bar and kaiten was just that at least.

I honestly couldn't care less about the others change at this point, they made some that are good some are meh... for the most controversial i actually like auto crit, and i think circle goken is dumb but whatev. It's not as susbtential as fucking up the entire job design as they did when they removed our alternative Kenki spender with nothing to replace it.

Just to be sure... so this is a playable race called Vierra from this game Final Fantasy XIV and it has them casting " Kaiten " the topic of this thread right about missing Kaiten and that of course they wield a Katana they are a Samurai a playable Job from this game. So just to be sure... this gif is about FFXIV right? its also glorious since we miss it! How about not remove this okey dokey?

Or if you do at least I'll know if its allowed or not

You'll get Kaiten back when the rest of the other jobs get their stuff that was taken away from them as well.

I dunno about the 50 kenki thing. Real problem is we lost our other kenki spender so we just have too much now, and yes, shinten animation is garbage and creates an awkward pause between attacks. If the animation flowed better and looked less crap I probably wouldn't be bothered as much by spamming it.
