I was thinking about this, because YES indeed, they need to at least add another raid tier set above Savage where BiS is required not only to make getting BiS actually meaningful and longer lasting within the patch cycle but also force them to loosen loot restrictions in Savage because there's a legit reason for wanting to get savage gear and not just be a stupid dumb MMO big number brain nerds crying for not being able to gear all roles when its not necessary because you can clear all the savage fights in min.ilv anyway and the reason the lockouts exist is because the savage raids is the only combat endgame this game has. Excuse the run-on sentence but in general, FFXIV has terrible raid progression and the gearing is the least of the issues here. Its the fact that they dont implement better and lasting raiding content like Mythic+
