100 gear sets now?

I took that to be a tease that they know we want more, and they're working on it.

Although I want more dresser spaces over more plates, if I had to pick one or the other.

EDIT: on further reading, he outright said that upgrading the servers will allow them to give us more plates.

I don't know if he was joking or serious, since -- again -- the 2 billion dollar company couldn't just have someone there speaking the translation as he said them. But they at least acknowledged all the people in the chat saying the obvious part out loud, and they met that criticism with "b-but we just added 5, isn't that enough???" lol

He had said more than just.
But I am not a direct source for translation.
There was also note/references to the upgrades affecting that as well.

The usual, let's find the resources and patience to hold judgement. and figure things out before we make the mistake of not fully true info

It's not, gear sets are stored locally and you can already have more than 45 if you manually edit them, there is no reason the game couldn't let you have unlimited, this is just an arbitrary limitation that they are extending, very likely by changing a single value.

I never had an issue with it, but I won't complain I guess. It's not like it's hurting anything by giving us more.

The other issue, is that Portraits rn are tied to Gearsets.., unless they rework the whole systems. then this is more leeway for that system. than a negative to ours.

There is no harm in the end. Til the gears grind, but it certainly won't be cause we have 100, and people either use that to complain about the lack of glamour slots<like stated by iscah, who unlike another, did read the translation in whole>

Hopefully they rework the Portrait system, as that is in need of change.

and after the server upgrades. we can see a better system for all.

I can't say I ever used enough to know there was a limit but I don't think it's a bad change. Glad for any who were limited that they have more options now. Not every QoL needs to be something that personally affects us all to be good.

Current max is 47 though. The 2 extra are from pre-order exclusive promos from a long time ago for HW and SB that are separate from collector's edition. Really appreciate the expansion on gearsets.
