Furnishings must be placed near buildings.

A maximum of 90 slots can be unlocked through Island Sanctuary game play.

Special furnishings like striking dummies and gardens are not supported.

And no, dear reader, I don't know how the hell 90 outdoor-only furnishings are supposed to invalidate housing or replace it in any way either, but ideologues gonna ideologue.

I did not say ''OH IT WILL OBSOLETE HOUSING'' i was inquierying. Not making a direct stab that it was gonna ''Obsolete'' housing.

I'm sure there are technical limitations to the reason for this, unless they are going to turn IS into real instanced housing.

Being completely honest: I don't really get what there is to be confused about in the first place. It is exactly what it says it is: 90 outdoor furnishings in the Hideaway, not including furnishings with special functionality.

Trying to guess at anything more than that is trying to divine the future. This might be the most housing functionality that's ever added to it. It also might not be. As it stands, though, it's going to be fairly hard for a late-game unshareable personal-only friend-access-only instance to fully obsolete something that is none of those things, even before we get into the actual functionality not even existing yet.

After seeing the picture from the Live Letter, at least it looks like we can finally hide the cabin from the workshops! lol But still would be nice to have an actual cabin that wasn’t a hub of operations for the mammets! Maybe someday…

At least I can finally take some outdoor furnishings off my retainers! I wonder if the island will have storage too, or just placement.
