The symphony EU tickets has been an unmitigated crap show

Jesus christ, Im not even going, I normally defend Square-Enix, not this time, the EU symphony tickets was an absolute shit show, a change of sale time ON THE DAY, a website constantly crashing and most tickets being sold out in the first 3 minutes.

With some very lucky few seemingly getting left over tickets from people kicked out at cart.

For my heart broken upset friends, Square must do better, this was unacceptable from a consumer perspective , from my guess 95% of the tickets seemed to be sold out in the first five minutes, anyone getting some after that were from poor sods kicked out of the cart screen not able to purchase their tickets, a company of squares standard could have damn well done better, and again im not even going, im just mad at how this was so horrifically handled.

Whoever in their right mind oversaw this needs a reality check on how to run a fucking convention

Ive been one of the lucky one about 15min after the sale started.
While my GF was sitting in the queue.

I just kept refreshing the 4 browsers ive opened (including private tabs, so in total 8).
I just got through on one of them and could buy the tickets, while the GF got randomly kicked from the queue.

We both started clicking the moment they went available and didnt get any.

I cant really blame SE for it but the eventsite itself.
And a lottery system can not really be done for a venue that has different prices and seats.

Lessons need to be learned is all im saying, this can't be repeated again.

Even if you managed to get tickets 15-20 mins after the sale opened it was probably from poor sods who got kicked from the cart screen.

I'm genuinely furious for my friends about this.

Square have consistently fucked up their approach to both fanfest events this year, under booked seats, either next time think of a better system or something else.

Why? Square Enix (Not the FF14 team) SE itself is a god-awful company.

why? never had much issues with them and the once or twice i had to contact support where well handled.
As to the speed tickets sold out, that happens with a lot of big events and concerts.

Exactly, ticket sales are always a nightmare. That said, the wrong time listed on lodestone was a bit crap.

Yeah really. This is my experience with almost any popular concert.
This is actually why this year's fan fest was done via lottery. To make it fair for everyone instead of the usual sold out instantly by 3rd parties like this.

It has always been a pretty terrible experience to get hands-on tickets for EU fanfests and FF concerts.
