Do Red Onion and Peregrine Helms still drop from quick ventures?

Hey, I know this question has been asked before, but I've never found a recent post where people really came to a consensus. I'm going after the Red Onion and Peregrine helmets, I know the wiki says they're supposed to drop from quick ventures, but I don't know if that's out of date at this point or not. I know it would be uncharacteristic of SE to arbitrarily make glams unobtainable out of nowhere, and I know that 1.x items are/were part of the 10-50 loot table, so players getting to endgame with their retainers have a much lower chance of getting them. But looking at the ilvl 52 tradable 1.x items on the MB, there's nothing. Not just the Red Onion helm but every tradable 1.x glam seems to just be gone, which is making me worry about if they're still obtainable.

If anybody has gotten one of these helmets or any other notable 1.x item from quick ventures, please let me know. Would really like to put this question to rest.

they got removed from ventures, theres no other way to obtain them than paying 50m+ gil (or whatever your severs mb price is)

Peregrine helm is untradable. Do you happen to know if it got removed as well as the Red Onion helm?

This is guy is quoting misinfo. nothing was removed from quick ventures. they changes in SB were to create venture coffers. This speculation apparently caused the prices of red onion helms to soar. I cannot find proof of a peregrine helmet being found, but some rumors circulate of people finding them and allegedly turning them in for seals.

Red Onion Helms do still drop from Quick Ventures - I've had a couple show up over the last few months myself. As for the Peregrine Helm, it's unclear, as Suven said, there are rumours it's still a (very very) rare drop from Quick Ventures, but nothing is proven.

For that matter, the rest of the 1.0 Onion set is also still available in Quick Ventures as well (I got Onion Pattens from this set recently from it).

Red Onion helms do drop. My husband and I both got one in the last month. Quick venture.

Browsing the marketboard recently, I have realised that the supply of previously fairly common and cheap "explorer" gear and similar items at level 50 has completely dried up at some point in the past couple of years. I suspect it happened when they redesigned the loot tables and the ubiquitous Bom Boko became the bane of our quick venture results.

I wonder if this is intentional or if something has broken. Either way I would like them to go back to having a supply of duddy level 50 gear that is occasionally useful rather than the useless plushie that nobody wants.

(It was the one time after years that I finally found the Mage's pants would tone in perfectly with an outfit after all this time. Went to buy them and there was zero stock throughout all of Elemental and the few sales were months apart. So I checked the other pieces and it was the same story for all of them, with what seemed to be a similar point where they shifted from regular sales to nothing.)
