Mac OS Ventura 13.3 Breaks Launcher

After updating to the latest Mac OS (13.3 Ventura), it appears that the official launcher is broken again - there's no message that pops up of an unsuccessful launch, just nothing happens.

XIV on Mac is a good alternative at the moment, but I do prefer Square-Enix's official launcher as it seems to consume far less power than the open-source solution.

I'm running Mac OS Ventura 13.3 on a Mac Studio with no problems. Which hardware are you running on?

I just updated to 13.3 today and now I am having problems launching the game as well. When I start the launcher it shows that the application started but then closes immediately.

I have a 2021 MacBook Pro (M1 Pro chip) running macOS 13.3 (22E252).

But there's no timeline for an official resolution yet I'm afraid.

It would be nice if the powers that be at SE purchased a Mac and a developers license. They could then download the developer betas when they are released and notice that a future update will cause issues so they can get whatever third party "supports" their client to take action before it breaks. Instead we Mac users are treated as second class citizens despite paying the same as PC and PS users.

Asking people to not update software when it most likely contains important security updates is beyond belief.

I recently updated to Ventura 13.3.1 and now the launcher has stopped working. Nothing happens when I try and start the launcher. I switched to using XIV on Mac launcher and this works but all my class gear sets have been reset. Had to set up each class gear set again.

Running on a Mac Studio M1 Max.

It looks like the issue thats causing the failure to launch is because of the wine launcher? I am not 100% sure what about the 13.3 update is causing this, but that seems to be the consensus from what I've read elsewhere.

I'm super bummed my sub-time is being burned just because I wanted to keep my Mac up to date. I hope this resolves quickly

Also my problem
Unfortunately (as from Germany) XIV on Mac is starting the game in German language, but I prefer English (better dialogues, voices, etc.)
Didn't find a way to switch the language; any hints?
And yes, starting the original launcher seems to have less power consumption.

The problem with starting the game is intermittent for me. First thing in the morning it starts first time, later in the day it won't start at all unless I restart my Mac. If I use the XIV on Mac launcher my key bindings are reset.
