Choose the next Unreal trial

Hey folks. Just curious which previous Eikon you would like to see sometime during the remainder of 6.x. I am pretty sure Zurvan is next, but if it were up to you who would you like the face for Faux Hollows?

Personally, I would like to see Ravana if they wanted to give a little break to the challenge as he is not on the scale of the Warring Triad, but the trial I would really like is Thordan without question. I never got to experience it when it was scaled to available gear at the time of release, and I've heard it was one of the best trials they've done to date. Plus, the NM is so laughable now, it would really be refreshing to do it scaled up to 90.

He's been stuck in a limbo between "too easy for an EX" and "too hard for trial roulette" for so long, an unreal version with a tighter ilvl sync would do the fight a lot of good. That primal's too cool to be reduced permanently to Wondrous Tails fodder.

Agreed, and an interesting pick. However, I think his mechanics will be easier to deal with @90 opposed to the limited skills we have @50. This fight dates way back, and I think in order to give Odin the respect he deserves, they would need to redesign his fight entirely, and make him a true EX encounter.

They could add in Raiden's mechanics from Baldesion Arsenal / make us fight Raiden simultaneously, and that would do the trick.

Frankly, id rather they focused unreals more on some of the stormblood ones going forward.

Odin’s only really notable feature that separates him from normal mode ARR trials is that the fight has higher outgoing damage and somewhat of a dps check when he reaches 15% hp, there isn’t a whole lot there in terms of mechanics that would make it an interesting extreme even if tuned for lvl 90.

As someone who has done both Thordan and Odin MINE level, those as Unreal fights would be absolute hell with random people week after week.

Thordan is considered by many to be the hardest EX fight in the game. That last phase of his is just insane with all that is going on, and so, SO easy to mess up on. Sure, it might not be too bad after doing it for weeks and getting experience. But GETTING there with having to prog with random people would be torture.

Odin is just.....absolute hell on healers, at least on the 50 MINE version. If you don't have healers that can keep up on both the healing AND cleansing, you ain't clearing it. Of course, this was the OLD Odin, so the new MINE version might not be so bad now. Plus at 90, it might be easier too to keep up. As someone said, they would probably have to redo the fight to make him a true Unreal challenge.
