The stats on them look pretty awesome though, especially since I'm trying to stack crit attack and crit rate atm.
1.22a and 1.22b were big patches. In an E3 interview Yoshida suggested that a lot of development staff had moved on to 2.0, but the people still working on 1.xx had a lot of things they really wanted to implement, so they pushed some of that content to the lettered patches. Nevertheless, I think we should keep our expectations low with this one. While I'm hoping that we get a couple of surprises, very little has been said about 1.22c, so it sounds like this will be a small patch.
I'm really excited for 1.23 in July, because sometime over the course of 1.23 and its lettered versions we should see the climax of the seventh umbral era storyline. The original 2.0 PDFs say the following:
When I read that last October, I thought "the coming months" meant that we'd first see the geological anomaly early in 2012. All I can say now is that my body is ready. Bring it on!One day, a massive geological anomaly suddenly appears from deep within the ground. Current players will have the opportunity to unlock the mysteries surrounding this strange, new landmark in the coming months.
Don't forget about Dalamud.. It's getting closer (bigger) o.o
Yet again, it's 10pm-2AM my time.
It's like they don't even want me to play.![]()
They seem to have made it a policy to take the servers down and start patching at about 6:00 AM Japan time. I'm guessing this is because, if they have a problem and the patching process takes a long time, it ends up running through the day rather than overnight. People will be more awake and alert, and there will be other staff there to assist them if necessary. Also, the whole staff is there when the servers come back online, so they can respond more quickly to any critical errors or bugs that pop up once the patch is live.
I'm in the eastern U.S., so while the patch times are kind of inconvenient, it's worse for those of you in the U.K. It would be nice for us if they staggered patch times, but I understand why they do it when they do.
oh, I know they do it because of the "maybe it'll break" but sometimes i wish they'd just stagger them occasionally. They seem to have made it a policy to take the servers down and start patching at about 6:00 AM Japan time. I think this is b/c they don't celebrate Daylight Savings Time over there. They seem to have made it a policy to take the servers down and start patching at about 6:00 AM Japan time. On another note, I thought we were supposed to get another producer's letter after E3 ? I figured it would have been before 1.22c , unless we get it tomorrow morning.
Either way, I'll stant by my point about the Lieutenant rank and items… can't wait to get my hands on some on those, since I seem to get zero luck with primal weapons while farming seals is something I can do on my own. ^^
