No I have not, I cant even keep up with MSQ, and u advice me to play single player like MSQ.
But it does not matter, maybe they sounds cool on JP, but these Eng versions sounds super cringe.
If it's just a one to one upgrade, like the jobs are now then sure I guess if it will give a new set of skills and spells. if it were to go CNJ>WHT>Devout then thats fine, but splitting into two different paths like arcanist is now split between SMN and SCH causes them problems. Probably more so because one is a DPS and the other a healer, maybe if they split into two jobs of the same type it would be smoother.
I guess they could just add cool gear sets referencing the advanced job designs. Kinda like the ARR artifact sets.If it's just a one to one upgrade, like the jobs are now then sure I guess if it will give a new set of skills and spells. if it were to go CNJ>WHT>Devout then thats fine, but splitting into two different paths like arcanist is now split between SMN and SCH causes them problems. TBH they've pretty much established they don't want job changes going forward from ARR for advancement as the base classes advanced into jobs with Arcanist having a split path to 2 different roles similar to what many other MMORPGs had done. Kind of sad IMO because having every base class having a fork into 2 different roles probably would have alleviated some of the queue times for DPS that have pretty much existed the entirety of the game's lifespan.
Not if they simply kept the old version. You needed a Lv15 class additionally to your 30. So you do what? Random mobs, leve quests, monster book (how is it called in english again?) and Sastasha. Boom Lv15.TBH they've pretty much established they don't want job changes going forward from ARR for advancement as the base classes advanced into jobs with Arcanist having a split path to 2 different roles similar to what many other MMORPGs had done. Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
Advanced jobs are fine and dandy but with the current trajectory all we'd see is updated particle effects since all jobs focus on DPS and DPS only. As long as we don't get at least a little bit of variety back I really don't see the point of this change (even though I really like the idea).
I don't know if they'll do advancements/specs once we hit the level 100 cap, but it's clear that they just can't keep adding 10 levels every expansion and call it a day. I assume this is the same conclusion Yoshi P came towards, because if this were to happen then the amount of buttons and traits gained every so level is going to be stretched incredibly thin as they continue to remove more things to make room for future additions since they don't want to cross a certain threshold when it comes to the number of buttons.
Advanced jobs feels like something they would do after we reach level 100 first and they need a new progression system.
Well, adding more stats to the Soul Crystal (they do already give a small amount of base stats, amounts might depend on the job or role) and adding new skills as an alternative to character progression instead of having to infinitely raise the level cap with each expansion would probably be the point.
