Dynamis low pop, high queue times.

Because adding more worlds and thinning out the already thin population on our DC is a terrible idea? That I have to say this is actually astonishing. Now if SE could do away with all the idiotic limitations then fine, but they haven't and until they do this is a terrible idea.

You do know that you queue with people from your own datacenter and not world right? Dynamis having 8 worlds wouldn't change much of anything other than maybe make 2nd wave of housing migration.

I don't think its particularly needed to expand the data center right now, but it should definately be done before 7.0 drops.

I think they're mostly talking about non-queue activities. You know, the MMO part of the MMORPG being stretched super thin.

I'm on Marilith, and there's never anyone even in Old Sharlayan, maybe like 1-2 people in Radz-at-Han. Open world zones? Forget about it.

Also, adding 4 more servers when our current 4 aren't even remotely filled out doesn't even mean our queue will get better at all. They need a damn server travel cap so people actually go to other places and not just Gilgamesh.

Edit: This also doesn't guarantee our queues will be healthy past the first month of an expansion release when the pop drops 80% again.

Isn't that just how this game is though? The open zones are useless empty and lifeless even on popular servers. The only times they're not is if theres an event or theres a huge influx of people running MSQ quests that happen to be in that area.

No, that's a problem we have now after a years of stretched expansions with nothing to do in the open world. It wasn't like this in HW, and even Stormblood was OK.

It's a 2-part problem. Nothing to do in open world, and nobody to do it with. So we all just AFK in Limsa and spam low level dungeons at lv90. CONTENT

There is literally no need for more worlds on Dynamis, it's already empty as it is, why spread the already very small community even more ? Barely anyone is moving at this point, with some moving back to Aether or Primal, you're going to create dead worlds like Maduin/Marilith with completely empty wards, that just serve as ghost towns, there will be an influx in Dynamis with 7.0, and then it will die down, and you will have empty worlds that serve no purpose, just like Materia.

I think the game as a whole is bleeding subs. This is adding to the emptiness on Dynamis. I don't think they shou;d have createdd a new DC. That was a mistake.

Cause I mean yeah if you count gathering or spamming fates I guess, but fact of the matter is all the open areas in this game tend to be dead, that isn't dynamis exclusive. Its a game issue
