There are people down in Materia with this exact problem, but without the option to just go play on another DC.

30 seconds DC traveling isn't going to be the end of the world.

As long as we keep advising people to "just DC travel", Dynamis will continue to have foreverqueues. It's "okay" for now, but once the rest of the DC goes live, we need to stop encouraging this.

Pretty much. The problem is 100% DC traveling. I have nothing against it, but SE's incompetence to this situation makes it meta to do so. And until they actually do something to fix it, people will continue to do it. Dynamis doesn't even have a community forum. They don't care about us. I feel bad for the Australian one that can't move anywhere.

I was on Dynamis the day it went live. Everything seemed exciting when first there. New FC's were forming and I was even able to buy a house. A week in, I knew I made a mistake. Many of those who moved here either moved with an alt leaving their mains behind on older worlds, or just started a new char. I couldn't transfer back to Crystal as SE imposed a 90 day waiting period on transfers from the new DC. I had no idea that was the plan when I moved to Dynamis. Finally, after 3 long, long months, I was able to escape to Aether, even self demolished my house to get off of that dead world. Aether is like an oasis compared to Dynamis. What a mistake I made.

How much time? Sorry but I've been hearing "give it time" since November. Adding 4 more worlds to Dynamis isn't going to make the problem any better, in fact it's only going to make it worse.

SE needs to look into a more seamless cross DC playing experience. Because nothing brings my Seraph FC together like 3/4 of the members missing because they're on Gilgamesh trying to get things like dungeons done or are looking for mats or just want to hop into Bozja and actually have people there to play with.

The worlds on Dynamis already have a shit ton of houses though, it's not going to attract more people, since a lot of those houses are still empty, in the thousands, and I myself play on Dynamis, on Halicarnassus.

cross data center travel wont fix OCE data center. people still are going to travel to NA/EU and stay there and never come back just to queue

realistically, the only way to fix OCE population is cross-data center party. where everyone from other regions can queue up at the same time regardless where the character is when they're queueing. like OCE/JP/EU/NA can party togethr without have to dc travel.

Also adding 4 new worlds when the already existing ones are close to empty (except seraph) is not going to help anything no.

I mean who the hell cares about individual worlds population. We need a healthy amount on the datacenter, not one specific world.
