All I'm saying is cross dc queuing. The server becomes irrelevant. Also, if you want to have quick access to all of your home world stuff, you don't have to leave. You can still DC travel and go do whatever, and it literally hurts nobody.

Except it actually does, I have done reference this on another post on how once this was implemented in WoW the negative affects it had on that game and community as a whole and how it was seen as one of the more detrimental things added to the game.
Granted I'm not 100% familiar with the exact network topology for the servers, but I feel like there'd be some additional issues present when matching/playing across DCs.
Saw some very convincing post (by which I mean it was a wall of text said very confidently, and no one lies on the internet...) explaining something about how your character file is being copied when you move DCs, that's why there's a wait and why it's affected by the same wait times as new character creation; and that it wasn't as simple as "just...... let DCs matchmake lol????" Even not knowing the exact relationship between DCs, it does seem logical to me that there'd be still more latency issues when you're introducing another layer of separation between the members of a group.
Any last scap of community is negligible at this point. Sit in any main city for longer than a few seconds, and you will see constant spam for nightclubs or twitch streamers doing sketches, whatever advertising you to leave your server to come visit them. Even things like hunting have devolved into use Discord with thousands of people you will barely interact with or not at all. This idea of community in this game is dead. It died when I could leave my server. Even being able to queue with people outside of my server goes against trying to keep it tight nit. I'm constantly queuing with people I will never see again anyway, so it's negligible. Outside of general technical issues with it doesn't really destroy the idea that having servers does not matter is a good thing for the longevity of the game. It's good for everyone, and all I ever hear about is community, which is irrelevant to actually fixing something that just makes people leave from frustration.

If people are attending them sometimes mass quantities then it is not dead, it's just seems dead to you because it's not something you enjoy or preferAny last scap of community is negligible at this point. I never said it was dead. I'm saying that that isn't a servers community. It's just community. Like a games community. We don't need server communities. So that argument that adding cross dc queuing would ruin that is stupid. Because that idea has been eroded over the years. People would rather be able to get stuff done without having to dc travel to get it done. Regardless of if they already abuse it or not. Would you rather right-click your character and select a server and wait a minute? Or just login? The awnsers is right in front of you.
Honestly for dungeons its not to bad, but when I go to q for the daily alliance raid.. By the time it pops I'm either eating or to tired exhausted waiting to care much. I Don't mind much since I just play with my kittys or shop online during the q. I do feel however the pentality strike should be temporly suspended on the datacenter because how long the qs can be you could easily miss it 3 times.
My avarage on alliance raid queing is around an hour and half even as tank/healer

I'd rather neither honestly, I'd rather you are locked to your server and you figure it out. The difference is in old school thoughI never said it was dead. That's the thing, though nobody does. Everyone leaves, which makes the queues worse. Where is their sense of server pride then? Where is the community, then?
I'm not trying to be mean, but outside of a technical reason, you are arguing against something that would actually keep people on Dynamis.
I said I'd rather neither, can't leave your data center, no cross Data center que. So you want to be here be here, we are not Aether suburbs just for your housing. So ya want a house figure it out here Skippy or wait till they open more plots your choice. That's the thing, though nobody does. Everyone leaves, which makes the queues worse.
