I'm aware of all of this, I would just think they could do something to make my life a little easier if I'm expected to DC travel to be able to actually do content.Below is a summary of what our arguments are/will be:
1) It's your fault for moving to Dynamis. You knew it would be slow.
2) Give it time. It's a brand new DC and has only been there for six months, which is basically yesterday.
3) We're in a drought, which means no one's really playing right now. You have to wait until 7.0 in 2025 before the DC becomes populated. Why aren't you playing other games?
4) You can just DC travel. Sure it disconnects you from all of your communities, but we all have to do it too, so why can't you?
5) Materia is worse.
6) I have queues just fine. In fact, it takes less than a minute to queue for any roulette (leveling) (class in need only) (only during prime hours) (I only play the game on weekends).
Remember, we're the best MMO right now. WoW has it worse. Did you know they can't even DC travel? I heard they don't even have datacenters. How horrible.
woooow this just made me laugh. there are 27 million players. they can't just think of how to make one persons life a little easier. it is what it is.
I never liked the complaints about Dynamis being "dead". People who complain don't understand why it is there in the first place.
However, I am with people in regard to the lack of forum sections for the servers on Dynamis. Not adding them is not very smart for the growth, because people use those forum posts to recruit for FCs, or player made server events.
SE would also do well to implement bigger bonuses to encourage the move, or start on those servers. Server wide EXP bonuses, or gil incentives would go a long way. Honestly, I don't know why SE never does EXP bonuses. Its a tried and true classic MMO method to get people to want to start on less populated servers.
They do this already, you get 100% bonus experience up to level 80 for 90 days when you transfer over to the new worlds. New characters recieve this bonus as well as long as the server maintains its 'new' status. Also if you make a fresh character and level it to 30 you recieve 1 million gil.I never liked the complaints about Dynamis being "dead". I did and again. they won't make your life easier. it would mean a total overhaul of the dc visitation system and world visitation system. its setup limited so certain things can't be taken advantage of like the retainers. could you imagine the turmoil that would cause if people could use them cross dc. suddenly the original worlds mb's would be flooded with cheap product all over causing a massive shift in how things are priced across the dc. the fact you have to travel to even do dailies sucks but shows just how unpopular dynamis is at this moment. it will eventually liven up but till then just gotta deal with it.
also your house, fc and island are all on your native world. why should that be accessable on any other world or data center. again. those aren't designed like that and i don't even think they could do those multi dc. wouldn't make sense to have those accessable anywhere but your origin world.

I'm gonna go talk to anyone else but you.I did and again. they won't make your life easier. it would mean a total overhaul of the dc visitation system and world visitation system. its setup limited so certain things can't be taken advantage of like the retainers. could you imagine the turmoil that would cause if people could use them cross dc. suddenly the original worlds mb's would be flooded with cheap product all over causing a massive shift in how things are priced across the dc. the fact you have to travel to even do dailies sucks but shows just how unpopular dynamis is at this moment. it will eventually liven up but till then just gotta deal with it.

Existing Players should have chosen more carefully before they transferred over. I love it here
The problem is EVERYONE, DC travels off and then dynamis is just a housing plot for other servers with no real purpose. It probably has enough to function or close to it but it this DC has a quarter to a third that transfer off. That being said I didn't check your class prior but we are on the same server if you need expert or leveling you can ask myself or Adonis Skye and I'd happily tag along to get your stuff done on that. I usually main tank but have GNB and Adonis usually mains sage. Now that I'm on Maduin, I'm finding it nigh impossible to queue into anything except Expert Roulette or Leveling Roulette. In addition to that, the party finder is always empty, save for people a few advertising the ERP club in their basement. This means if I want to get anything done, I have to DC travel. However, doing so locks me out of my retainers, my house, my apartment and my island as well as several functions that can only be accessed in my home server.
So could anything be done to rectify this? I mean if you're going to force Dynamis people to DC to get anything done you could at least make it easier to access the things I mentioned.
I am generally home at 5:30 CST mon - Thursdays and on most the day Friday
530pm it 1730 w.e you understand better
