    Delete rescue from the game.

    All is in the title. I'm sick of being pulled left and right by healers who thinks they knows better. Tank don't want to pull more, rescue him forward. Melee trying to get some uptime, let's rescue him away from his target.

    What was even the point of introducing this ability into the game ? To save someone from a mechanic they don't understand ? Are you really doing him a favor as a healer when you do that ? I don't need help moving my character and if I'm doing something wrong, I'd rather die from my mistake than getting carried through something I don't understand.

    Each time I bring this to the table when I'm doing a content, healer is just like "you're mad/salty" and then proceed to troll the rest of the dungeon/trail.

    Am I really the only one feeling this way about it ? I'd sign a petition to cancel this ability tbh.

    I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

    Rather than deleting rescue, they should add an aoe rescue for really dangerous situations

    No. I've used it countless times to actually save people. If you're getting griefed, here's what you do:

    1. Grow up
    2. Stop listening to people who try to discourage you from reporting people who break the rules
    3. Report them

    I don't see anything childish enough in my message that would lead to some "grow up" advices. That said, reporting people make sense and I'm doing it but I don't want to waste 10min each time some healer pull me when I'm trying to get my uptime because "he/she wanted to save me".

    It's just like I said, I don't need saving. You're not making sense when you pull a sprout without explaining him anything. Before rescue was added to the game, healers would take the time to "educate" you BY COMMUNICATING if you're doing something wrong, now they just pull you without warning and as far as I'm concerned, I'm getting pulled even tho I'm not taking damage or failing anything as a melee. I'm getting pulled as tank even when there's nothing left to pull, when asking "what more do you want to pull?" I'm getting the following answer "the wall".

    No I don't want to waste 10min each time some random abuse this abilty, especially since I've got no way of knowing if it actually has any effect at all. There's no point in rescuing people, stop saving them and let them learn.

    Rescue is kind of a bad ability in the game right now. I'm not even against it because of it being grief capable, more the implementation has the same half-second lag that Benediction does. Multiple times I've used it to save someone, only for their dead body to slide to my feet after they get hit by the mechanic anyway. It's just not a good ability, and we could honestly have something different in its place.

    EDIT: The one consistent use I've found for it is Hunt Trains. Namely Yulan in Thav, Holder in Laby, and potentially both Mousse and Sabotender Marks on the moon. Yulan and Mousse both have seduce then 1HKO attacks, and Holder and Sab debuff and then large attack (Sabs is 1HKO, Holder's can be survivable with enough gear). You just have to time it late enough (but not TOO late) for the seduces otherwise the player's character will run back into the effect.

    But that's honestly the only consistent use I've found for Rescue. Otherwise it gets people killed as often as it helps people. And I just hate yank abilities in general. I DESPISE the yank abilities in PvP, especially Frontlines since there's no defense (it seems to go through Guard) and you can get pulled 10-20y into the middle of the enemy deathball and instantly deleted, which is just stupid and not in any way engaging or enjoyable gameplay (crowd control effects in PvP are, in general, stupidly OP to the point of making the game mode entirely unfun, but the push/pull/yank are all the worst offenders.)
