    Summoner vs Dancer Debate Pt.2 Fun?

    Which class of the two that you think is the most fun mechanically and gameplay-wise, in both PvP/PvE?

    Of the two, I prefer dancer because it has far fewer blinding effects. Summoner makes it hard to actually see what's going on half the time unless you turn off most of the effects.

    Dancer. It's my favorite support job in the game. I enjoy how it feels weaving between dances, dashing out of AOEs, supporting my dance partner and teammates, etc. Plus, LB3 for dancer is a gorgeous sight (if you're not sensitive to light).

    Going with my g.f (as I have neither) dancer allows her to be willy nilly running around and doing damage and has dashes while summoner she has to cast and can't be as free always to move

    so ironically, at 90, Samurai (a melee class) has more castbars than Summoner

    What? Summoner has a grand total of three casts every minute and a half or so. And you can swiftcast one of them.

    That's why I don't even bother using Swiftcast with anything but res. I've only leveled Summoner up to 70 so far, but is there another spell that should be swiftcasted?

    Sometimes it requires reading the room, for sure. If it feels like things could get dicey (or they have already) then yeah, it's best to hold onto that Swiftcast. I have it hardwired into my brain to use it with Garuda, so sometimes I end up using it anyway.

    But on topic...it all comes down to what people enjoy. Some like Dancer, while some do not. Same goes with Summoner.

    Neither, they're both about as fun as watching paint dry. Summoner spells certainly look cool though I'll give it that.
