Petition: Fix the Binding Coils item drops from bosses

This is ancient as heck content. I was looking to buy a diagnostics module for my new house [That I paid almost 20 mil for btw, but how crappy XIV's housing market is is a topic for another day] I almost choked when I saw it was damn near as expensive as my house! So I figured "Eh, I'll farm the mats and have my friend craft it for me." Only to discover the mats only drop if it's run synced and the drop rate is ridiculously frickin' low!. SE needs to fix this issue, and I have two propositions for fixing it.

#1, keep the low drop rate but make it drop from running it unsynced too. Again, this is hella old content, aside from some crafters complaining that they can't sell the tables for ridiculously inflated prices anymore there really isn't much harm in this.

#2, make it so it only drops synced but make it a guaranteed drop like the mounts in the later raids.

Both of these are fair compromises to make it so people who want the mats but don't want to farm this crap all day synced and possibly never get rewarded for it don't have to do so.

As for the items dropped from coil bosses. They are rare, and it's kind of nice if it stays that way. Gives people a reason to do things synced. Not like the content is that hard with ilvl changes now.

I agree with this. Even though I don't do much BLU, I do like that it extremely rewards you for syncing the content if you want the spells, and requires it for certain achievements IIRC. IMO I think this was missed in all forms of older content, but if this is how it is for the coils I would like it that way. You want to engage with the story of coils quickly, do unsynced. You actually want the items, sync it!

So much this! And again, if they wanna force people to do it synced, fine. But at least make it a guaranteed drop like the Alexander and Omega Savage mounts are so you only have to run it 8 times to be guaranteed to get the mat you want instead of possibly running it 100 times and never getting it.

The new Deep Dungeon, Eureka Orthos drops all of the allagan stuff in all sacks. The furniture and other things too. So those prices will drop over time since the deep dungeon just got released.

Only difference is that its deep dungeon and its level 80-90 content.

When did you try the fight? When it was current end game? Were you trying to actually do Allagan Rot or the wait for the disco ball? Cause you shouldn't have that much hassle even now to do the disco ball enrage. Even with double shield healers. Heck you could easily get up to T8 with randoms.

I did not know this! How good is the drop rate for the lower floors of the stuff from Coils? I need the plate and the illuminant for my friend to craft the table for me.

I personally don't know a number, but after watching streamers play it and myself; it isn't like a rare drop. Just like Palace of the Dead and Heaven on High; you get a lot of junk, but sometimes you might get a minion or a orchestration scroll. Think of the furniture dropping like those items. But... you have to understand that RNG is RNG, so you may get very lucky or not with your loot.
