it's why I'm supportive of Alt Friendliness/AccountwideAchievements-Unlocks-Shop.
the longer the game goes, those that still want to play XIV but have Capped or maxed out will increase. and either a) become tired and complain of a lack of Grind, or b) make an alt and work it. c) is take a break, but if you're here, you're likely still playing in-game but recycling.

Thus the amount of alts increase over time, and the lack of access to what you had before becomes more apparent. <The whole Tide that floats all ships>

There are many who have alts solely to bypass the lockouts/funnel gear to specific party members of their static.<asides the myriad of personal reasons to do alts.>

It's one reason why people want content to unlock at least when the Patch that the ultimate is set to drop, arrives. specially since there is also a lack of jobs being filled months ago that sparked a uninformed response from the Pro/Dir Yp.

Tldr: there are so many rough edges, let alone in Gearing. some that affect balance, others that do not. and there have been many threads for and against. like one that makes Alliance Raid Drops, into Head/Chest/Arm/Leg/Feet Coffers to ease one piece of the rng, whilst maintaining the lockout, and rng that the coffer still won't show up.

And others that still requires players to put the effort into the content. like in savage. before the ultimate patch drops.

Hence why it's best to inform yourself and dig more OP, as its very broad, and many things can benefit from it, while in some circumstances cannot.
