Eh uh, what? My screentshot show 80 in DF with 50 in others. I'm fully well aware of how bursting the club scene is, but to me that's just good news, the more facet of a game people can enjoy, the better. Or is there some kind of rule that specifically say one form of entertainment is mutual exclusive of another. Btw, one of the member of my static got "caught" going to one of these clubs, it was screenshot and we made fun of her for a good 2 weeks, but it's all good fun. And our static run savage and ultimate.

There are at least three times as many club listings across North America as there are parties for actual content. And each of those clubs has many times more people than the maximum party size. You simply do not understand the sheer magnitude of a difference there is.

The game has changed. Your personal playstyle doesn't apply to the majority of us anymore.

Because of course, all people want to do on a weekend is grind raids..I mean sheesh..I just HAD this VERY SAME conversation with that other guy, FF 14 isnt raid oriented and people want to use the weekend to relax, blow off steam, have some fun WITHOUT climbing back onto the raiding hamster wheel..or they go clubbing one day and raid the next..who cares?

Isnt one of the most important things that they enjoy themselves?

Priorities need examining here....

Usually on Crystal/Aether there is at least one page worth of duties during the day hours though. Which isn't really much?

I don't think it's a reflection on the amount of content in the game as much of it's just a reflection on the community.

Ok, sure. But.. of what consequence is it that people aren't being super social if people are playing the game? If whatever million people are still playing the game regularly, paying their subs and doing the content provided what's the problem? They're not playing it how OP wants them to on the schedule that they want them to? I'm a little biased in that I enjoy the game without really interacting all that much with anyone else except friends, but we aren't risking the game ending or ceasing anytime soon. I don't even think the lack of "being MMO qualified" will be what ends it either. There's going to be something MILES better within the next few years and the only reason to stay will be nostalgia and familiarity. Of what consequence is the note that on a notoriously NOT populated evening that people aren't content group finding? Like you said it's a reflection of the community and the paying and loyal community aren't interested in what OP considers traditional MMO activities on a sunday eve. I am unconcerned.

VelKallor. I’m gonna ask you a serious question here. A very honest one too since you clearly spent hours writing paragraphs over this. Who is asking for more savage content in here? Who exactly are you fighting? Is it me?

I’m gonna need you to point out where I said there needs to be more savage content. Not only that, but to me a bunch of savage listings is not a healthy state for a game where it’s either savage or bust. There just needs to be content people can sink time into. And yes savage is some of it. But thats just not the focus of this here. A big game with a big player base needs diverse content. And right now there isn’t enough.

So before you go on some giant crusade against imaginary enemies you may want to really pay attention to what the arguments being made here is.

You are moral high grounding nothing. And speaking of a topic that has no relevance here.

It’s very difficult to ascertain your priorities when you go on giant crusades to attack others when they highlight what they perceive as issues and you turn their platform into some soapbox to attack raiders.

Whatever your beef is against them, don’t come here to spew your hate towards them. This post isn’t about that.

I once made a PF in which they could hire me to watch their ERP session. 50K per half hour. 100K if the writing was bad.

I actually had people answer in order to do it. I was just joking but they were for it. I should have raised the rates.

It really hasn't. These differing playstyles have been around since before NA even had three datacenters.

Gilgamesh was the raid/content-focused server, while Balmung was the social/RP-focused server. Since both servers were part of Aether, this caused Primal to not really have a clear focus on playstyle.

The addition of Crystal and the World Visit system really solidified these different playstyles, with a significant amount of content-focused players transferring from Balmung/Crystal to Gilgamesh/Aether. This turned the entirety of Aether into the raid datacenter, and Crystal into the RP/social datacenter. Primal still being sort of in-between.
Data Center Travel simply made Aether more accessible to Primal/Crystal players.

All of this is easy to see in the screenshots provided by the OP, Raven2014, and you. Showing the PF for Primal, Aether, and Crystal in their respective order. Aether having a significant amount of High End PFs, Crystal being almost exclusively in the Other/Social tab, while Primal is sort of in-between (but leaning towards Social).

TL;DR Nightclubs simply made the social/RP playstyle more apparent, OP should just travel to Aether if they want a more content focused datacenter.

If you need more clarification on what this post is about, it’s about there being so little content most players don’t even bother grouping up to do it anymore. They just post on the other tab to go make their fun because the game sure isn’t providing any.
