I'm not sure if its okay to ask this or not.. Not sure if its wrong to ask but after I messed up...

Is there any groups of some kind with a primary chat for people with severe mental .. Issues i have bpd and multiple personalaity disorder. Sometimes I can't really help certain things, I know its wrong to post to much details so I won't I just want to know if there is a group of some kind I can join, talk with that won't mind/understanding when someone can't help things.

I'm really sorry for making a post like this just a little depressed over how one of my personality acted...

maybe a NoviceNetwork, but I am not sure, coz u can sometimes meet some big-ego-toxic mentors there, who go supper annoyed, if things goes not their way.

I'm not personally aware of any specific groups but given the size of this community, there's almost certainly some discords and FCs out there (maybe linkshells too? Could try the fellowship finder) of those with similar circumstances and that can be supportive. So, it's definitely not wrong to ask. Sorry I don't have a great answer, but in addition to asking here I would suggest asking on the FFXIV Reddit. I feel like there are just more people there, so they might have answers that the forums don't have.

Alternatively, rather than asking FFXIV players specifically, you could find online communities for people with your condition and ask if anyone plays FFXIV or if there are FCs for such people. You never know unless you ask!

I know there was a Discord that had set up as a safe place for FFXIV players with various health issues and/or emotional trauma but can't remember the name of it. It had been discussed here in the forum about a year or two back. I don't know if it's still active.

You might want to seek out a more general peer support community online. I had been a member of one about 20 years ago though the site has since disbanded. Members of those communities might have better information about supportive gaming communities.

I haven’t seen anything like it on EU, maybe on the US side you might be more lucky.

I would advise against the Novice Network since it’s not all roses there and has already its own issues with bad mentors.

Finding a community on Discord might be a good start but in your case it’s very specific and I haven’t seen one so far. I’m sure there’s probably one, have you tried asking on the FFXIV Reddit ? Maybe some users can direct you to the right community.

No groups that I know of but as someone else with BPD, you'll will find people who can understand/tolerate it more than others. However, we can't expect people to always adjust for us and push their own feelings to the back. It's not healthy at all for others and usually results in them asking for space or not wanting the friendship at all.

We may not have a lot of control over what we feel/what triggers it, but we do have control over what we do with those emotions and how far we push.

I wish you luck in both finding a group and in your general life.

It's never wrong to ask. There are several such FCs and Discords promoting themselves on Coeurl. Unfortunately, I'm pulling a blank on their names at the moment. When I see them again, I'll post them here for you.

I'd be willing to bet that if you looked around enough, you'd be able to find a group of people that suit your needs. Hopefully you do. There are tons of Discord servers and other communities, so I would be very surprised if there wasn't one of those too that fits your criteria.
