Verminion meta. Earn your rare Penguin Prince!

This topic pops up every few years and I did a bit of research to see what’s been said in the past. I figure this might help a few people earn the rare minion!



To play versus NPCs for the achievement queue for the Master Tournament after registering for the weekly gold saucer verminion tournament.




Strong minions that are easy to obtain are:
Monster: Baby Bat , Fenrir Pup
Critter: Black Coeurl , Coeurl Kitten , Wolf Pup
Poppet: Wind-up Kojin , Wind-up Cid




A pure Kojin deathball often wins, but sometimes the NPC counters Poppets. Mix it up to make an unbeatable deathball. Start with four Wind-up Kojin, then spawn in Monsters and Critters until you have four of each. More Kojin complete the death ball. As minions spawn move them to your group to win!




NPCs generally cannot defeat this death ball, but other players can. Kiting lower speed minions with higher speed minions makes the fastest minions the best in PvP.

What are some strong minions in Verminon PvP? I think Wind-up Estinien's ability gives some out-play potential. Sponge Silkie's ability countering all poppet damage seems strong against the Wind-up Kojin meta.
