I probably have run into this before..,
[but can't really remember them well, unless its egregious, which none seem to have been, just infinitesimal-y annoying.]
but it's all just off..,
nothing against the rp, long as the dungeon works, and the rolls are done so the rest can gtfo as soon as they like..,
Don't Hold up with emotes each other/chat in private til those than want out, get out..,

What if play RP of the Garlemalding spy or the No Shadow God? Do not want chara to be killing the Lahee. So must walk slow to prevent it. Is the clever strat.

I've never seen anyone walk but I have seen folks emote between pulls or must have had their in character stuff macro'd because they managed to keep it going and keep the dungeon going. So I don't usually mind. And good RPers will contain this sort of thing to a party that has agreed to it all. If they're doing it in a way that will intentionally inconvenience others with random people, they're just griefing and trying to use RP as an excuse.
In Shadowbringers, I had a Summoner who was RP'ing as a Garuda cultist and was using Garuda-egi on Living Liquid, even after I told them Ifrit was better for bosses. (I genuinely thought they didn't know Ifrit was meant for single target until he started doing RP text lol)

I don't remember having anyone actively RPing in the middle of a dungeon but I wouldn't care unless it was noticeably slowing the dungeon down, then I would try and be polite and ask them to hold off on RPing and focus on the dungeon. If that didn't work, vote kick exists for a reason.
I feel like it'd be a bit weird?
The randoms in your party have no idea what's going on so it's not really fair to them.
This would be another good reason to make trusts work with multiple players though. That way if you wanted to RP in a dungeon with the actual combat(not just explorer mode), then you could.

Ive had 5 RPers, I even joined in because it was kinda fun.
The Dungeon got done just fine, didnt feel like it took much longer then usual
Now, I havent gotten a single ERPer in any content. If I did, Id just switch chat and keep moving. If its noticable taking forever, Id leave.

the only rper i've experienced in an instance was way back in HW, during alexander raids. we were trialing a dark knight for a5s-8s. they didn't warn us or ask if they could, but they macro'd a lot of their skills with large paragraph rp text. when asked to stop, they said "whats the point of being on balmung if you don't rp?". when he refused to stop, we removed him, but not before he called me a "nether-blasted scholar" lol

Garuda does seem like they would be into Pepsi. Ifrit seems more like a Code Red kind of Primal.
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
