Depends on the person. I do this all the time where I use my left hand on the keyboard and my right hand on the mouse and use all those keys. You get used to where they are so muscle memory takes over if you do it often enough.

No not "depends on the person". A person might be better at hitting hard-to-hit targets; that does not make the targets themselves any less hard to hit. Do not mistake people being able to use bad UI setups effectively with people having not-bad UI setups. Can people overcome bad UI setups? Yes, of course they can. But it would be far less work and training to just use a not-bad UI setup from the start.

Or just let people use what works for them instead of trying to deal in "never do X" just because you can't personally manage it.No not "depends on the person". bar with emotes on center - is the most important part

I use 1-5 (I don't have anything set to 5 though), Q, E, R, T, F, G, V, `, Mouse 4, Mouse 5, L, and Numpad +
F is always sprint
G is always knockback resist
L is always Limit Break
+ is my shield as BLM/NIN/RPR, mitigation as SAM/MNK, stance as tank, DP as Dancer, Faerie as Scholar and Kardia as Sage
1-5, Q-V all have Shift and Alt modifiers, but I have a 6th button on my mouse bound to Alt so I use that instead of pressing it normally
` only has an Alt modifier
Mouse 4 and 5 only have shift modifiers

(buffs and debuffs are in the same place but buffs are ordered left-right and debuffs are right-left)
You can always give unsolicited advice, it's always morally correct

The colored box sections are toggle controlled by the bar in the bottom right.
The gear icon in that bar turns off most of my UI. I often use that for Gold Saucer gates.

Edit: The bottom right bar is bound to my numpad. My abilities are bound to keyboard 1 to 12. I use left shift and left ctrl along with a 12 key gaming mouse for all my abilities.
Toggel bars are for clicking only.

I have all my HUD stuff at the bottom of my screen for convenience. That way I'm not blocking majority of the fight and I don't have to look around as much to see what's going on.
My focus bar is above my hotbars so that if I'm checking my CDs, or looking at my party's health, I can still see what's being cast.
All my attack HBs are keybound to the NUMPAD. 0-9, [.], and [/]. Then a CTRL set and an ALT set. I have my HBs 4x3 so that my skills can be in the same spot in correlation to their keybind. Makes it easier for me to remember what skill is what key.
I rebound walk from the numpad [/] to the numpad[*] to make it work better.
That way my left hand is for moving and targeting my party, and my right hand is for attacking and turning the camera. Took 3 years of tweaking my HUD to get to this stage and I love it.
I also have my side hotbar above my chat that doesn't have keybinds. I just click them.

I try to keep my interface as clean as possible, so I can see as much of the game's visuals as possible. I only have Party, Friends and NPC names active at all times. Everything else is Names When Targeted. I'd also make some UI elements smaller to see even more of the game itself but my eyes aren't great and I need to actually be able to see things on the UI lol.
It's so fun to look at everyone's UI!
I think it's so interesting to see what each player prioritizes and where everything fits for each person.
