Why do people avoid getting better at the game?

Thats the thing. These people never get good, nor try to, and giving advice is asking to get told off or worse.

I don't play shooters or rts games. Know why? I suck at them.

I'm not good at fighting games or ones that require pulling off insane combos mid combat, but I still play DMC. I used to play Soul Calibur too, though I wasn't much good at that either. DMC evolved over time though, and I was very thankful to have an "easy mode" that performs all of these combos for me at random so I could focus on dodging more. Before that, it was a bit of a struggle, but I managed. Either way, plenty of people play games they aren't necessarily good at, but despite the struggles enjoy them all the same for one reason or another.
