Why do people avoid getting better at the game?

As for casuals they still are a cancer. If you gave them FFXI they wouldn't know what to do like any other game. Only thing casuals know is how to be lazy incompetent RP'ers with nothing else to do but drag the good players down and cry for help.

If you think "casuals" and RPers are lazy you should really try visiting an RP venue sometime. Those people put A TON of work into that stuff and are quite good at it. Perhaps you should take a look at what it is those people actually like if you feel the game is being catered to them. Who knows, you might like it.
