It's true with this game, not so much games like XI or even Everquest where encounters do not follow strict routines. Those games require you to react to the situation as it unfolds accordingly and use your skills properly. It has much less reliance on strict rotations.I mean sure, that's true for anything right. But that's not really part of the discussion because we know that's a fact. All 3 of these facts can be true, they don't diminish each other:
- You get better as you repeat the same content
- You get better as you play the same game
- XIV is washing the difficulty and engagement of casual gameplay
If I go back in time and play ARR or HW with my same experience I have today, it wouldn't be easier than today's released casual content. It would also be more engaging overall. I might even have to use comms.
