    Connection Issues from SEA to FF14 - Any Updates from SE?

    Hi everyone,

    I have been experiencing a lot of connection issues while trying to play FF14 from Southeast Asia (SEA) lately. The game keeps lagging and disconnecting, making it almost impossible to play. I know I'm not alone in this, as I've seen a lot of complaints from only SEA folks about the same issue.

    I was wondering if anyone has heard any updates from the developers regarding this problem? Have they acknowledged the issue and are working on a fix? Or are there any known solutions that can help us in the meantime?

    it's been about 4 months I started playing ff14, and this problem is getting worse, and it's frustrating to have such connection issues that are out of my control.

    If it's actual connection issues there's not much the devs can do. That's on your isp.

    Yes, I'm fully aware of the possibility of this could be my ISP problem, but quoting my statement above, this is not a problem from a single ISP from a single country, it's whole region with a different kind of ISP.
    tbh i just need some clarity of what could be the problem that causing this.

    It is your ISP issue and in general you want to sign up with ISP that is actually maintenance the hardware infrastructure instead of sub ISP who rent connections

    SE servers are from same manufacture so there is no difference between NA and SEA

    when i think about it, you probably right, maybe my ISP maintain every hardware infrastructure to connect to almost every game and website that i visit flawlessly except my connection to not only ff14 also only to JP Data Center, that's quite specific for a bad ISP maintenance. Thank you for the help
