Because a lot of people believe this expansion is lacking content and this is a preface to "let me pick between every sound in the game and choose it's volume", which is unnecessary and a massive project. Just use what is already in-game, it already covers this issue.

what a sad life '-'Some of them do it on purpose too. Like people were talking about it in a discord I'm in, and someone was talking about how they'd sit there and use trial synthesis with ARM, spamming one of the abilities that makes the most noise over and over again to annoy people.

Maybe i'm wrong, but you can slide the "sounds from other players" in the sound configs already. I don't remember if it includes craftings, but for gatherings it works fine. The sound of cutting tree hit hard in my brain sometimes if I don't turn the volume down '-'

You're right on that. Usually people make...demands and I read it as such when that wasn't the case so I will admit it that that's my bad.

Maybe it's just me, but this entire thread reads like a troll thread from the outset to bait responses, but idk.
On topic: there is many marketboards. Evey city has a few. Ul’dah itself has 5? Three separate spots. Surely there wont be a crafter at every one. The kugane and crystarium one rarely have people at them. Every housing district has ..well alot. I’m not going to go count. Plenty of areas to do shopping away from noise. You just want to go to the busiest area which is Limsa where there is tons of people crafting and shopping then want no noise.
That is like going to a mall and expecting everything to be dead silent.
