Another halfbread child or the devs giving kids unique faces?

While doing the newest Little Ladies Day event I was looking at all of the npc faces and the boy next to the Haughty Mother is Hyur. Yet his nose says it's the one male Viera use if not Female Roegadyn. They also gave him the Xeonort golden eyes. I mean the Emet Selch shade though not as vibrant.

So either it's the devs wanting to give the kid a unique face and nothing more or mom loves them bun boys. X13.8, Y 9.8 are the cords and I don't think they're at that stall normally.

Yeah when a friend did the quest they said they didn't notice anything strange until I mentioned how flatter his nose was and how the tip looked similar to a Viera's.

Having finally done this quest, I don't think there's anything outstanding about the boy's face. That general face model has been used before – Unukalhai being the most prominent one, and I think also one of the children at Frondale's in a previous LLD event – and it's always looked a bit "off" to me. It's possible they've had that nose model on that face type all along and nobody has looked hard enough at the character model to notice. I think he just stands out because of his colour scheme.

Actually as a glamour nerd I'm more interested in his boots, which seem to be a unique model. The other children in that area have cute outfits as well. I wish they would mine more of those older models to be available to players.

Ok so it's just a face asset that isn't normally used on children then. I like the little girl in the black top that stands near the female Roegadyn. She wears a top another girl wears that's to the left of the stage. Just the girl in black has a cravat and the other one has a circular collar of some sort going on.

There's a fun game of looking at outside-of-default characters and asking 'what mishmash of assets did they make you out of?' Children are really common for this; fun fact, Ramza in the Ivalice quests and Themis in the Pandaemonium quests have the exact same non-default 'young male' face.
