I have a commendation to give to someone, and the person I want to give it to is often gone before I can give it.

If I have to, I'll give it to whoever's left by the time I'm done clicking through the commendation interface. That person may not be my first choice, but, eh, we made it through the dungeon, so it's cool. You can have it, then, since you were patient enough to wait for me to give it to you.
