The DoH parts are very straight forward. But the DoL parts are actually a bit more tricky, especially with Fisher!

OOooh, another one of these guides with info I'll actually use.
Thank you.
Are you sure there's a weather requirement for platinum seahorse? I thought it was not cloudy when I caught mine
Hi fulminating,
Thank you for raising the doubt!
I previously thought the Platinum Seahorse could only be caught at Clouds weather. That was INCORRECT. It was probably by chance that I caught all my Seahorses in 2 separate sessions which both were during cloudy weather. On the other hand, I failed to catch the Seahorse at another session during normal weather possibly because I forgot to equip the Splendorous Fishing Rod (?). All that led to the wrong conclusion that the Seahorse needed to be caught at specific weather.
I re-purchased another Splendorous Fishing Rod and the baits, and I have now confirmed that the Seahorse can be caught at ANY weather & ANY time. I apologize for the previous error.

kind of amazing you did all the work but they seem so not worthwhile. fairly neat effects but not reliable at all in exchange for 5 melds...

Well, glamor items sometimes is just for glamor anyway. I just wish they were carried on our backs like the Resplendent Tools do, and I wish they glow in RED or GREEN instead, since we already have quite a lot of gold and blue already... (Skysteel were blue and blessed set #2 were kind of bluish, then Resplendent and blessed set #1 were gold, and the old luminary set was gold as well... Back in heavensward, we also had a golden set and a blue set crafted from master recipes)
Keep in mind that the Indagator set is the last craftable set. So, the DoH/L relics will creep up and plausibly surpass the crafted MH as more content is added to this questline.
But will we end up stuck having to remeld most of our gear again as we needed to with our Aesthete gear once we got the final Skybuilder tool?
I remember being upset that I got a lot of extra useless Craftsmanship that was not enough to reduce the number of Synthesis steps I needed to complete Expert crafts while losing Control that was helping to advance quality. I had to remeld my gear to shed the most of the extra Craftsmanship and get the Control back I needed for grinding my Expert achievements.
I still don't plan to work on the Splendorous tools until the final version along with the last set of Expert recipes are available. If I want to do the recipes and having the tool will make a noticeable difference (likely if any final bonus is similar to the current one), then they'll be worth making. Otherwise, I'll skip them.
Whelp, I've done the other two tools to crystal, and I'm on the last fish for fishing, time for me to say thank you.
I'll get to the crafting eventually, I don't stack my stats anything like you do yours, so I'm sure I'll need to tinker with the macro, but these look like not by too much.
Oh, I saw you had a guide on cheezing bozja duals, does that technique work on the zandor ones? Have the feeling I might need to bring a few light curtains and a dispel for some of those, they are not fair looking.
Thanks! I'm glad to be of help!Whelp, I've done the other two tools to crystal, and I'm on the last fish for fishing, time for me to say thank you.

The same trick should work for almost any duels in Bozja/Zadnor... However, I haven't tried it on any other duels... At that time, I just needed that one field note for the mount, and it just wouldn't drop from the Skirmishes despite doing over 50x of the same Skirmish. So I resorted to dueling.
